International students studying full-time in Russia are allowed to work without obtaining special permits. If the student is a citizen of a country with a visa regime, their employer does not need to apply for a work permit to hire them. This procedure is known as simplified employment.

The addresses of all university buildings will be available in your Student Personal Account and the Sechenov app. Enter the address in Google Maps — the service will build a route, show travel time, and provide photos of the building.

For international students, the easiest way to find accommodation is through popular online platforms such as CIAN, Avito, or Yandex.Real Estate. You can also join student and international groups on Facebook or Telegram, where listings for apartments and hostels in Moscow are regularly posted.

The university has an Institute of International Education, which supports international students, assists with migration issues, and helps them participate in the academic, social, and cultural life of the university.

Foreign bank cards currently do not work in Russia. To cover living expenses in Moscow, use cash, a Russian bank account, or transfers through acquaintances or intermediaries, taking into account any applicable fees.
